About the position

The Financial Analyst position involves detailed evaluation of contractor quotations, budget tracking, cost reporting, and supporting cash flow management. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial tools to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely payments.

Responsibilities

• Detailed evaluation of contractor quotations for change orders (unit prices, take-offs, etc)
• Update budget tracking tools based on change orders and identify/report budget concerns
• Monthly Journal Corrections/Accruals by project budgets
• Monthly and YTD cost Reporting by project budgets
• Creation of monthly cost reports and performing cost analysis
• Review invoicing and ensure timely payments
• Support cash flow management and report status
• Support purchase order requisitions

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a cost and financial analyst
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred) or Blue Beam (acceptable)
• Experience in the construction field

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of RS Means Scheduling
