About the position

The Financial Analyst at HES Facilities Management plays a crucial role in supporting the company's long-term financial health and growth. This position involves optimizing profits, assisting accounting operations, producing accurate reports, and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency. The analyst will work closely with field operations to understand their financial needs and provide strategic insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Finance Partner with Field Operations to understand their accounts and support their initiatives.
• Assist with updating KPI reporting for weekly financial operation reviews (WOR).
• Analyze current and forecasted financial data to understand the company's financial status and identify trends.
• Assist with reconciling accounts to true up Monthly Forecast vs Actual reporting to identify variances.
• Identify reporting inconsistencies within the business units and help improve the overall financial process.
• Assist in Data Integrity.
• Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.
• Assist in preparing the Annual budget and maintain budgets for each account.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Firm grasp of accounting principles and business operations.
• Proven analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
• Ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and organizational skills.
• High level of commitment to quality work.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with good time management skills.
