As a financial analyst on our team, you'll work on a financial management strategy to help your client's programs succeed. You'll work with project managers and task leads to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project managers. Responsibilities

  • Develop a financial management strategy to support client programs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and task leads to secure necessary funding.
  • Track funding usage and ensure efficiency in its application.
  • Communicate consistently with project managers regarding funding status and requirements.
  • Learn and apply relevant laws, regulations, and policies to assist clients in developing requirements.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with procurement, purchasing, or financial management.
  • Experience supporting the Navy or DoD.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to effectively plan workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to articulate technical subject matter clearly and concisely.
  • Capability to organize large amounts of information.
  • Effective briefing skills regarding status updates.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DoD contracting.
  • Experience with Navy ERP.
  • Experience in researching, analyzing, and explaining complex financial and acquisition laws and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
