About the position

The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within the corporate team, focusing on financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for a designated group of clients. This position involves collaboration with multiple business units and operational teams to support decision-making through the assembly, interpretation, analysis, and reconciliation of financial data. The role is based in Burlington, MA; Denver, CO; or Fairfax, VA, with a hybrid working model available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial and operating results for reporting and forecasting purposes
• Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for assigned client groups
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely analysis of financial results against plans, forecasts, and budgets
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of performance management tools
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve accuracy and drive efficiency
• Complete ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary
• Manage multiple deadlines demonstrating the ability to prioritize and a high level of attention to detail
• Gather and verify financial information with a proactive attitude
• Participate in other projects as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business/Economics
• 2-5 years of experience in a related field
• Experience with industry software such as PeopleSoft and Hyperion (Oracle)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze structured and unstructured financial information
• Accounting Designation (CPA) completed or in progress
• Advanced skills with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
• Strong work ethic and accountability for delivering quality work
