About the position

The Financial Analyst position within the Fidelity Wealth Central Finance team focuses on delivering impactful financial analysis to business and finance partners. The role involves supporting the Next Generation Allocation View (NGAV) efforts, analyzing profitability drivers, and maintaining relevant methodologies for the business. Additionally, the analyst will develop expertise in expense and revenue drivers from a Retail customer perspective and enhance data extraction and analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Next Generation Allocation View (NGAV) efforts across the Retail organization economics.
  • Analyze drivers of profitability and maintain relevant methodologies for the business.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in key expense and revenue drivers from a Retail customer perspective.
  • Implement effective data extraction and analysis capabilities to address complex business questions.
  • Validate and maintain Fidelity Wealth and Fidelity Brokerage profitability allocations.
  • Build and maintain financial allocations to reflect evolving business models.
  • Proactively communicate and partner with multiple business and finance partners.
  • Evaluate and improve reporting and data consolidation processes.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Fidelity Wealth/Fidelity Brokerage's financial results and profitability model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent training.
  • At least 2 years of FP&A or finance systems, data & reporting experience.
  • Experience in activity-based costing methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence others and form relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Experience in building new reports using financial and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-BU teams and build positive relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and quality.
