About the position

We are a boutique Wealth Management firm (A Registered Investment Advisor Firm) located in Davie, Florida, specializing in comprehensive tax, retirement, and financial planning. Our firm is dedicated to providing a full range of investment, insurance, and trust services advice to numerous families and professionals. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. This is not a sales position; rather, the role focuses on servicing and cultivating our existing client relationships while also engaging with potential clients. The Financial Analyst will undergo extensive training designed to prepare them for long-term success in working with high-net-worth individuals. This training will equip the analyst with the necessary skills to meet the complex wealth planning needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed, and a willingness to work extra hours two days a week to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service. In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting research on various investment types, including individual stocks and bonds, and analyzing financial information obtained from clients. This analysis will help determine the most suitable strategies, products, and services to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for placing trades and conducting transactions for both client and firm accounts. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a fixed base salary of $80,000, with ample opportunities for growth within the firm. Responsibilities

  • Continually educate yourself in the financial industry, planning, and investments.
  • Conduct research on individual stocks, bonds, and other investment types.
  • Contact clients to educate and inform them about their investment holdings.
  • Analyze financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies, products, and services that will help them meet their financial goals.
  • Place trades and conduct transactions for clients and firm accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Successful track record with past and current employers.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Strong work ethic and strong drive to succeed.
  • Willingness to work extra hours two days a week.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional work experience of 5 years (Required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for at least 1 year (Required).
  • Ability to relocate to Davie, FL before starting work (Preferred).
