About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Junior Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Northern Kentucky. In this position, you will assist with the preparation of reports, conduct data analysis, and provide support to the finance department in making business decisions. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in financial trends and data interpretation, who are passionate about encouraging a company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial analysis reports.
• Review financial data and aid in creating cost-benefit analysis for business decision making.
• Assist in the budgeting process and in monitoring operating budgets.
• Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc project analyses, and financial modelling.
• Collaborate with the financial team in annual and quarterly earnings and statements.
• Assist in forecasting revenue, costs, and financial trends.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Review and recommend financial improvements.
• Maintain databases, spreadsheet files, and financial reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Experience as a financial analyst is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, spreadsheets, and financial software applications.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial modelling skills are desirable.
• Must have a practical understanding of financial analysis and predictions.
