About the position

The Customer Experience Associate plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing friendly service, assisting with inquiries, and efficiently handling transactions. This position emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly, in a polite and professional manner.
  • Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, performing all related check out procedures.
  • Maintains accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged correctly and appropriate funds are collected.
  • Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
  • Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Utilizes all company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
