About the position

Crane Currency is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Dalton, MA. As a premier industrial technology company, we specialize in currency manufacturing and advanced micro-optics technology. This role is crucial as it provides the business with a clear and accurate picture of current operations, enabling colleagues to make informed decisions that enhance efficiency. The Financial Analyst will gather, analyze, and report on potential areas for improvement, contributing to brainstorming sessions aimed at achieving long-term goals and objectives. Your fresh perspective will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives and providing new insights into our finance roadmap. In this position, you will interpret and summarize data to report on current performance, track trends, and forecast future financial expectations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our revenue recognition program and prepare monthly reports comparing manufacturing budgets to actual performance. Engaging with cost center owners to understand variances will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also establish a strong presence within the organization, justifying benefits on assigned Process Excellence projects and managing the checkbook process for maintenance, supplies, and services to ensure spending aligns with the budget. Additionally, you will participate in the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to understand volume and report sales summary data during monthly reviews. Leading the cash flow forecast process will require coordination across supply chain and accounting to ensure accurate inputs.
