About the position

Seda North America is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team! The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. In this role, the Financial Analyst will primarily analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. This includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. The analyst will assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze relevant financial information, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance. Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances will also be key responsibilities. Additionally, the analyst will support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects, evaluate pricing strategies, analyze sales trends, forecast future sales, and assess market conditions to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze relevant financial information.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, analyze the impact of pricing changes, and recommend optimal pricing models.
  • Analyze sales trends, forecast future sales, and identify factors affecting sales performance.
  • Use historical sales data to predict future revenue and assist in budgeting.
  • Assess market conditions and competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and pricing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial software, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: SAP preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Industry knowledge, market analysis, and strategic thinking.
  • Teamwork, adaptability, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
