About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complex tasks in various functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
• Understand and articulate clients' financial goals.
• Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into strategies.
• Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports.
• Develop tools to allow clients to proactively respond to needs and trends.
• Prepare financial analysis and research in areas such as financial and cost-saving performance measures.
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and audits ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP.
• Support the creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings, timely and accurately.
• Provide related support functions as necessary.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, both internal and external.
• Provide process improvement recommendations for clients related to their financial systems and functions.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant work experience.
• Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A clear, concise communicator with exceptional follow-up and organizational skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, flexible, innovative, and attentive to detail.
• A passion for applying strategy, design, and technology to help businesses change the way they operate.
• Detailed knowledge of a variety of software programs, familiarity with manipulation and presentation of financial data.
• Professional etiquette to staff & clients.
• Clean background checks (FBI and BCI).

Nice-to-haves

• Additional certification is a plus.
