About the position

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial industry based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role is for a Financial Analyst who will be involved in various financial functions including reviewing and reconciling inventory details, performing overhead calculations, and assisting with various internal or external audit requests. The role is a permanent position that will contribute to our team's success. The salary range will be $65,000 - $75,000 DOE with the potential for LONG-TERM GROWTH opportunities! Responsibilities

  • Review, reconcile, and verify the accuracy of system values for inventory and Work-In-Process (WIP) sub-ledger details through variance analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of financial information into forecasting, budgeting, and other financial processes.
  • Perform a detailed review of inventory and WIP transactions and related accruals.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of monthly closing functions.
  • Carry out overhead calculations including fuel, labor, material, and applied overheads.
  • Perform account reconciliation for various assigned balance sheet accounts.
  • Conduct work order review and billing as well as man-hour reporting and analysis.
  • Participate in physical inventory and cycle count audits.
  • Prepare detailed expense analysis and analyze current account reserves.
  • Handle routine fixed assets accounting duties and coordinate cycle count audits and reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Proficient in Crystal Reports.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Data Mining Techniques.
  • Profound understanding of Accounting Functions.
  • Experience with Accrual Accounting.
  • Knowledge of Auditing processes.
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes.
  • Experience in Capital Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation.
