About the position

The Project Cost Analyst role at Intilify INC is focused on supporting the company's ERP transformation program. This position involves analyzing project budgets, expenditures, and variances to ensure financial objectives are met, while collaborating with project managers and finance teams to develop accurate cost estimates and forecasts. Responsibilities

  • Analyze project budgets, expenditures, and variances to identify anomalies and ensure adherence to financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to develop accurate project cost estimates and forecasts.
  • Monitor project spending patterns and provide regular reports on cost performance to stakeholders.
  • Review and validate project invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Prepare accruals as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including project budget reports, cost variance reports, and financial forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain project cost control tools and templates to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to project cost management.
  • Track and document change orders and update financials if necessary.
  • Prepare award memos and change orders memos to authorize additional contract funding when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a cost analyst, financial analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, cost control methodologies, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Cost Professional, Certified Project Management Professional) are desirable but not required.

Benefits

  • Contract position with a pay range of $40.00 - $45.00 per hour.
  • Possibility of contract extension after 12 months.
