About the position

The Corporate FP&A position at Azenta is focused on financial analysis and reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making for management. The role involves preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly operating results, while also assisting in the quarterly earnings release process. The position requires collaboration with functional leaders to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary support for functional executives regarding expense management and analytics.
  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan, multi-year strategic plan, quarterly forecasts, and estimates.
  • Prepare insightful monthly operating results for review with executives, understanding drivers and trends.
  • Prepare executive presentations, including Board updates and investor presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve utilization and efficiency of financial systems and enhance reporting functionality.
  • Lead and/or participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Support various Corporate FP&A ad hoc initiatives/requests as they arise.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong initiative and ability to prioritize assignments effectively.
  • Extensive Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP and OneStream systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with financial reporting and forecasting in a corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
