About the position

The Financial Analyst at Manhattan Pipeline, LLC is responsible for supporting the company's financial planning and reporting processes, including budgeting, cost analysis, and project billing. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as it works closely with the project management team under the direct supervision of the President.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual income statement and financial forecasting reports
• Monitor and analyze SG&A spend vs budget and forecast
• Set up projects in Vista and assist Project Managers with development of project budgets
• Analyze project performance and cost variances on a weekly basis and identify trends
• Assist Project Managers with project budget maintenance and change management
• Assist Project Managers with project billings as required
• Monitor project costing and assist Project Managers with job cost corrections as necessary
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts as necessary
• Assist with and manage the implementation of process improvements as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant Accounting experience
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to learn new programs/systems quickly
• Experience working in Vista or similar accounting system/ERP
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze, identify and resolve issues with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
