About the position

As a Financial Analyst at Tubi, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business operations and accounting teams by reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Your primary responsibilities will include budgeting and forecasting for major expense areas of Tubi's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, as well as managing other expenses as required. You will become a subject-matter expert on these major expense areas, developing strong partnerships with operational leaders and teams across the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with various levels of the business, providing insights into operations, outlook, and reporting. This hybrid role can be based in Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; or New York, NY, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. You will be expected to own key areas of the P&L, developing an annual bottoms-up budget by department, maintaining forecasts, and creating necessary reporting and presentations. Additionally, you will prepare monthly forecasts for regional office expenses, track and analyze corporate card transactions, and support the continual improvement of budget and forecasting processes to enhance data-driven decision-making. Your contributions will also include assisting with management dashboard reports and presentations for Executive Leadership, as well as supporting accounting and business operations during the month-end close process. Ad hoc requests and auditor support will also be part of your responsibilities, making this a dynamic and engaging role.

Responsibilities

  • Own key areas of the P&L, develop annual bottoms-up budget by department, maintain forecast, and create necessary reporting and presentations

  • Prepare monthly forecasts for regional office expenses
  • Track and analyze corporate card transactions
  • Support the continual improvement in budget and forecasting processes to expand data-driven decision-making
  • Assist with management dashboard reports and presentations for Executive Leadership
  • Support accounting and business operations with month end close
  • Handle ad hoc requests and auditor support as needed

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Accounting or Finance experience preferred
  • Financial systems experience preferred (Workday, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, G-Suite)
  • Strong Excel skills, excellent modeling skills, and ability to perform complex analyses with big data sets required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
  • Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail required
