About the position

The Financial Analyst at ZF Gainesville will support the site operations and product line teams by analyzing financial data to understand the financial impact of decisions. This role involves collaboration with the controlling team to provide financial analysis and support key stakeholders, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly financial results and isolate/correct/explain variances from plan.
• Support Controller with preparation and coordination of the business plan.
• Create and maintain financial reporting database for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
• Review standard costs for materials and assembled products.
• Record and circulate information on product costing.
• Prepare cost calculations to support service parts pricing and quotes for assembled OE products.
• Maintain and perform distributions of operating costs among business operations.
• Review and update capital investment files, prepare corporate investment requests.
• Perform related month end tasks and management support tasks as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3 - 5+ years of financial or cost accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred.
