About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance and/or data analytics professional to partner and help drive overall results with the US Fleet Finance group supporting our overall US remarketing operations. The Finance team is responsible for partnering with Hertz leaders on financial related aspects of the business. In this fast-paced team, the Financial Analyst position will lead variance analysis, monthly actuals reporting, budgeting and forecasting, project review and audit, along with ad hoc analysis and reconciliations. Actuals reporting and budgeting is reviewed with senior leadership to provide guidance on opportunities, risks, and support key business decisions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or accounting
  • 0 - 2 years of FP&A, Finance or Data Science experience in analytical/reporting role preferred
  • Moderate / Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results driven, ability to make decisions and help overcome business challenges

Responsibilities

  • Perform a key role in providing financial business analysis, decision support and thought leadership
  • Develop financial forecasts and analysis, generating internal management reports
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive the scaling and automation of financial processes
  • Support monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes for short term and long-term business planning
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of US Business Performance: Revenue, operating expense and EBITDA impact, understanding of variances to prior forecast, annual operating plan and prior year performance
  • Ad-hoc analysis support for senior management
