About the position

The Financial Analyst will assist in the development of project execution and operating annual budgets, as well as 10-year plans. This role involves supporting the modeling and analysis of project plans for strategic decision-making and internal goal setting, while providing key support to business unit management during budget updates for projects and operational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist business unit with the development of consolidated 10-year financial plan.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly project reporting and management presentations.
• Assist business unit departments with the development of the operation plan/budgets.
• Apply accounting and financial knowledge to review project execution budgets and operation plans for sound presentation of numbers.
• Work with Project team and Operations team to update IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) with business unit plan and forecast data monthly.
• Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with analyzing and developing financial statements; good familiarity with GAAP.
• Advanced skills with Excel and financial modeling.
• Working knowledge of key financial evaluation concepts (DCF, IRR, ROIC).
• Understanding of accounting and finance including consolidation, elimination ownership structures.
• Ability and drive to advance an issue or problem for identification through resolution.
• Experience summarizing complex data into logical presentations.
• Project management skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse audience.

• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1 Cognos).
• Experience with mega project execution planning.
• Professional certification (CFA, CPA, CMA, etc.).
