About the position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their Accounting Team. This remote position involves performing in-depth analysis of reimbursement and cost allocation strategies for the Medicare Cost Report, as well as evaluating provider compensation programs to ensure financial sustainability. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed workpapers and analyze Medicare Cost Reports.
  • Develop and refine cost allocation methodologies.
  • Perform comprehensive provider compensation and productivity analyses across various specialties.
  • Build financial models and forecasts.
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial data.
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions.
  • Provide market and financial analysis for enhancing strategic growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in an intermediate to advanced analyst role in a healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Proven understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience with provider compensation models and productivity benchmarking.
