About the position

The Financial Analyst at Odfjell USA is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial modeling, KPI reporting, budgeting/forecasting, investment analysis, and treasury-related analysis. This role supports the organization in building a structured FP&A function through financial reports and analytics, ultimately aiding the business in achieving its financial goals. The position reports directly to the Sr. Financial Analyst and involves collaboration with various teams to drive profitable results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate financial modeling and KPI reporting.
  • Support M&A and debt/equity refinancing processes with financial analysis.
  • Prepare Board reporting requirements including monthly and quarterly presentations.
  • Ensure accurate financial projections on customer proposals and renewals.
  • Develop and maintain regular and ad hoc reporting materials for leadership.
  • Manage key reports and operational metrics with actionable commentary.
  • Partner with business leadership and teams to drive profitable results.
  • Lead profitability analyses and provide pricing guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Support planning, forecasting, and month-end close processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • One+ years of experience in public accounting, commercial finance, and/or financial analysis.
  • High level of computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a drive for high-quality deliverables.
