About the position

The Financial Analyst position involves monitoring and tracking costs, conducting budget variance analysis, and supporting various financial processes within an electric utility company. The role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial performance tracking and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and tracking of costs
• Budget variance analysis
• Identifying balancing/Memo/Base account costs
• Cost tracking between different cost recovery mechanisms
• Developing 2025 budgets
• Responding to regulatory data requests
• Supporting regulatory filings
• Supporting audits, internal and external
• Supporting financial performance tracking

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required
• 3 to 5 years of related experience
• Knowledge of ERP Systems
• Mastery of Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint
• Financial planning and analysis experience
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of SAP System, as implemented at the company
• Knowledge of the company's financial model
• Knowledge of PowerBI tool usage and report development
• Proficient in BEX/AFE

Benefits
