Responsibilities

• Lead the oversight of statutory reporting for investments, including quarterly investment schedules, disclosures, and annual audits.
• Manage interest maintenance reserve (IMR) and asset valuation reserve (AVR).
• Implement new accounting and disclosure guidance as relevant.
• Complete or review issue papers and control memos.
• Review, design, and implement process and control improvements within your area of expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in statutory reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and financial business systems.
• Experience with Clearwater Analytics investment accounting & reporting system is a plus.
