About the position

The Financial Analyst position at CV Resources involves supporting a rapidly expanding, private equity-backed health and wellness company by providing financial forecasting, strategic planning, and data-driven insights. This high-visibility role is crucial for making impactful financial decisions and contributing to the company's long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term projections.
• Perform financial modeling and analysis to support key business decisions, including recapitalization and investment strategies.
• Utilize Power BI to create dynamic reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide actionable insights into business performance and key financial metrics.
• Support strategic planning initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize profitability and growth.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of financial goals.
• Analyze variances between actual performance and forecasted targets and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in preparing presentations for investors, board meetings, and other external stakeholders.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in a private equity-backed or health/wellness company.
• Strong financial forecasting and budgeting experience.
• Expertise in Power BI, with the ability to build reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex data analysis.
• Understanding of recapitalization processes, debt financing, and private equity structures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis.

• Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics GP or similar).
