About the position

The Financial Analyst will collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information. This role combines financial analysis with some accounting responsibilities, requiring strong Excel skills and problem-solving abilities to provide analysis and solutions for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and present financial findings to the CFO
• Assist in preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns
• Maintain various business licenses and associated bonds
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
• Assist in monthly close process and posting of journal entries
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2+ years' experience in a finance or accounting department
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in U.S
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
