Client is embarking on a multi-year effort to replace Client's Enterprise Resource Planning applications and optimize the related processes. Job Functions and Responsibilities Analyze project budgets, expenditures, and variances to identify anomalies and ensure adherence to financial objectives. Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to develop accurate project cost estimates and forecasts. Monitor project spending patterns and provide regular reports on cost performance to stakeholders. Review and validate project invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. Prepare accruals as necessary. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including project budget reports, cost variance reports, and financial forecasts. Develop and maintain project cost control tools and templates to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to project cost management. Track and document change orders and update financials if necessary Prepares award memos and change orders memos to authorize additional contract funding when required. Other project responsibilities as necessary including assisting in project management activities Skills Project management experience preferred. Proven experience as a cost analyst, financial analyst, or similar role. Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, cost control methodologies, and project management principles. Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SAP, or other ERP systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret and present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
