About the position

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospitals and social assistance. The role involves analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and developing financial plans while collaborating cross-functionally with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and financial data, focusing on variances, trends, and understanding/explaining differences.
  • Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, providing support to other departments.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Use accounting software systems and data mining techniques to handle accounting functions and budget processes.
  • Utilize CRM and Crystal Reports in maintaining accurate customer credit records.
  • Apply knowledge in accrual accounting and auditing in processing customer credit applications.
  • Leverage ADP - Financial Services in capital management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
  • Familiarity with CRM is crucial
  • Proficiency in Crystal Reports is necessary
  • Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques is required
  • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is essential
  • Experience with Accrual Accounting is necessary
  • Proven experience in Auditing is a must
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes is required
  • Expertise in Capital Management is crucial
  • Must have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Must have strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
  • Must be proficient in spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Office, and financial software applications
  • Must have hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
