About the position

The Financial Analyst position involves conducting detailed evaluations of contractor quotes and managing budget tracking systems. The role is focused on ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with project budgets, while also providing comprehensive cost analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of contractor quotes for change orders, including unit pricing and quantity takeoffs.
• Maintain and update budget tracking systems based on approved change orders, identifying and reporting any budgetary concerns.
• Perform monthly journal corrections and accruals aligned with project budgets.
• Generate and analyze monthly and year-to-date cost reports, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly cost reports, with the ability to conduct detailed cost analysis.
• Review invoices to ensure accuracy and facilitate timely payments.
• Assist in managing cash flow, providing regular status reports.
• Support the process of purchase order requisitions to ensure efficient procurement.

Requirements

• Experience in financial analysis and budget management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in generating and analyzing financial reports.
