About the position

The Financial Analyst at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation plays a crucial role in developing operational budgets and forecasts for various business areas. This position involves analyzing financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support company goals and strategic initiatives, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist department and financial management in preparation of annual budgets and projections.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial performance analysis and reporting.
• Analyze financial performance versus budget/business plan, including identification of root causes and corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial analysis and report actual financial performance versus budgets and forecasts.
• Compile financial information to develop budgets, identify causes of major variances and ensure accuracy of actual data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience with increasing financial responsibility.
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft PowerBI preferred.
• Effective information organization and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
