About the position

The Financial Analyst position at ATI involves supporting various levels of the organization through the preparation and analysis of financial information. The role focuses on performing financial analyses, maintaining program budgets, and preparing financial reports, all while ensuring compliance with established guidelines and contractual requirements. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and requires candidates to reside near Charleston, SC for flexibility in work site arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analyses at the project and operating unit levels, including program budget estimates and rate impact analyses.
  • Maintain and monitor program budgets according to established guidelines and contractual requirements, advising on any variances.
  • Review contractual authorizations and modifications, updating the project-costing accounting system (Costpoint).
  • Review purchase requisitions, vendor invoices, and bills for accuracy per ATI guidelines.
  • Prepare internal financial management performance reports and external customer financial deliverables as required.
  • Verify and edit existing reports from Costpoint, TM1, and CER, and future reporting tools.
  • Prepare and review government and commercial cost proposals for existing programs utilizing established cost and pricing methodologies.
  • Calculate accruals and provide monthly cost allocation support for accounting month-end.
  • Maintain and document department policy and procedures and desk guides.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Interface with contracting staff and management to provide costing analysis and guidance as required.
  • Perform Subcontractor Indirect Rate Reviews and special projects as assigned.
  • Collect, verify, and compile data for the annual financial plan and rate projections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus two or more years of related experience, or a Master's degree plus one or more years of related experience.
  • Exceptional computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts.
  • Deltek, CostPoint experience preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required.
