About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Rogers Group, Inc. involves providing business planning and forecasting analysis, as well as supporting the financial planning and analysis team. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and deliver high-quality customer service to strategic market areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides business planning and forecasting administration/analysis.
• Analysis of monthly and annual financial results.
• Conduct analyses as requested by management.
• Interacts internally with Corporate and Operations personnel and externally with consultants and accounting professionals.
• Administrator of our planning system, IBM Planning Analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years total experience required.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills, database and strong presentation skills.
• Experience working with IBM Planning Analytics, Oracle experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, works well under pressure, and meets deadlines.
• Firm understanding of financial statements.
