About The Position

As a key member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for detailed financial analysis to support the Company’s financial and strategic decision making as well as its operations. This position will have direct exposure to the executive team and work closely with other members of the Finance, Corporate Planning and Treasury teams as well as various functional groups across the Company. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in all Finance processes, including ultimately maintaining the corporate model as well as any capital markets and strategic activity, and have a direct impact across the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience, preferably within the energy sector
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in finance, economics, or related fields
  • Investment banking, corporate finance, corporate development, consulting or private equity experience required
  • Detailed oil and gas modeling experience; ability to maintain complex financial models and manage large amounts of data
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and valuation methodologies
  • Expert Word, PowerPoint and Excel user (experience with Enersight, Enverus, Aries, and Spotfire, a plus)
  • High attention to detail with strong work ethic; ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously with high-quality results
  • Ability to take ownership of new tasks and problems and solve them with precision and thoughtfulness
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively and effectively across organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • CFA or progress towards a CFA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain corporate three-statement model to support corporate planning and strategic decision making
  • Support corporate planning and credit monitoring process and associated scenario analysis
  • Conduct analyses for ratings agencies
  • Assist in capital markets and strategic activities
  • Assist in revolving credit facility management and associated activities
  • Assist in counterparty credit process
  • Develop management, board and various investor and other stakeholder presentations
  • Prepare quarterly investor relations materials for bond holders
  • Support evaluation and analyze financial implications of various M&A activities
  • Perform various ad-hoc analysis as required
