In this role, the Financial Analyst will execute special projects that include financial modeling and research, providing valuable financial analysis and insights to leadership. The analyst will prepare monthly financial reports that include variance analysis, which is essential for tracking performance against budgets and forecasts. Coordination of budget processes across various facilities is also a key responsibility, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial planning. Moreover, the Financial Analyst will manage planning and reporting software, developing and distributing reports that aid in strategic decision-making. This position will also support various financial functions, including accounting, pricing, capital planning, investment modeling, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. Handling cash flow forecasting, ensuring bank compliance, and managing global reporting are additional critical tasks that the analyst will undertake. Responsibilities

  • Execute special projects, including financial modeling and research.
  • Provide financial analysis, insight, and support for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (e.g., D365, OneStream).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing financial data.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying complex financial information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous food or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Public and/or cost accounting experience preferred.
