About the position

The Financial Benefits Analyst at HUB International is responsible for providing financial reporting and analytics to clients, particularly focusing on cost management and market contract analyses. This role involves collaboration with team members across multiple offices to deliver impactful financial solutions and support client renewal presentations. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed and accurate financial consulting to HUB's clients, particularly HR and C-suite representatives.
  • Gather and prepare client information for market analysis with carrier partners.
  • Coordinate and manage information requests and deadlines for carrier proposal responses.
  • Produce and present client-facing market contract and pricing analyses to assist clients in their benefits purchasing process.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and workflows while maintaining high levels of communication with clients and internally.
  • Maintain knowledge of carrier products, cost management solutions, and funding mechanisms.
  • Engage in carrier negotiations and manage the renewal/marketing process.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of client services by staying informed about industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to manage a high-volume workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Life and Health Insurance Producer License required within 3 months of hire.
