About the position

The Financial Business Analyst at Innova Solutions will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and preparing business requirements for financial applications, specifically focusing on General Ledger and Accounts Payable processes. This position requires strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex business workflows to senior executives. The analyst will also provide functional consulting services, identify functionality gaps, and develop solutions while advising clients on options and risks throughout the systems development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and prepare business requirements for financial applications.
• Prepare complex business process workflows and present them to senior tech executives.
• Create status reports for senior management covering project roadmaps and risk mitigation planning.
• Act as a subject matter expert and lead clients through the systems development lifecycle.
• Identify functionality gaps and develop solutions or workarounds.
• Advise clients on options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems.
• Develop end-user documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• 10 to 12 years of total experience in business analysis for financial applications.
• Strong presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience in preparing status reports for senior management.
• Experience in Oracle Financial R12 and Oracle Financial Cloud web services integration is desired.
• Proficient in business requirements gathering and gap analysis.
