About the position

The Financial Business Partner role is a newly created position within a rapidly growing private equity-owned company. This strategic finance role will serve as the right hand to the CFO, acting as a key liaison with the Private Equity firm and partnering closely with senior leadership across commercial and corporate functions. The position offers a clear succession plan to divisional CFO, providing an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to make a significant impact on the company's financial health and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning process, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, providing strategic input.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support key business decisions.
  • Partner with the commercial team to drive business performance.
  • Act as the financial point of contact for the PE firm, representing the company's financial position.
  • Prepare and present financial updates to senior leadership and the PE firm.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Lead financial projects and drive process improvements across the organization.
  • Analyze the financial implications of service changes on the overall business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA highly desired)
  • 5-10 years of progressive finance experience, with a preference for private equity-backed companies
  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and business intelligence tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
