The Staff Business Planning Analyst at Rochester Regional Health plays a crucial role in the Finance department by providing financial support and business planning assistance. This position focuses on analyzing financial data and offering consultative advice to enhance the organization's strategic initiatives, ultimately aiming to improve financial performance and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Executive and Operational leaders to develop comprehensive business plans and financial analyses for mergers, acquisitions, service line growth, and operational evaluations.
  • Present financial overviews of assigned projects to decision-makers and provide recommendations based on internal and external metrics.
  • Create interactive financial models to project outcomes based on predetermined variables and assumptions.
  • Utilize Discounted Cash Flow concepts to evaluate and compare financial alternatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather, compile, and analyze relevant financial and operational data for projects.
  • Compare and analyze actual results against business initiatives and recommend improvements to forecasting and planning methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Health Administration, Statistics, or a related field required.
  • 1 - 3 years of prior relevant experience, including experience in collecting and analyzing data preferred.
