About the position

The Financial Client Service Associate (Paraplanner) plays a crucial role in supporting financial advisors by managing client interactions, preparing for meetings, and ensuring a high level of service. This position involves summarizing client communications, preparing investment reports, and assisting with various client transactions, all while maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing for client meetings by summarizing notes, emails, calls, and financial data.
  • Reviewing and preparing investment reports for client meetings.
  • Making outbound calls and emails to service existing clients.
  • Answering client questions via email and phone call, and resolving client issues.
  • Confirming transactions with clients.
  • Assisting clients with money movement requests and other transactions.
  • Executing client projects and performing related work as required.
  • Managing calendars.
  • Using CRM to manage client records and document client interaction for task initiation and completion.
  • Communicating with clients regarding outstanding issues, new business, etc.
  • Reviewing and updating client information as needed for client review meetings.
  • Taking notes during meetings and preparing summary letters.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and written communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Direct attention to detail and organization.
  • 3-5 years work experience in a personal financial advisory/sales and client services role.
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Salesforce/CRM experience preferred.
  • Associate's degree required.
  • Series 7 and 66/63 licenses or the desire to obtain a plus.
