About the position

The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the financial health of the firm, working closely with industry leaders to make a significant impact. This role primarily involves overseeing the accounting department's daily operations, providing financial guidance to senior management, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The position allows for remote work with occasional office visits for important meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Provide financial guidance to senior management.
  • Coordinate and manage annual audits and tax filings.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Identify trends and variances to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • CPA and public accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of applicable experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
