About the position
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the financial health of the firm, working closely with industry leaders to provide financial guidance and oversight. This role primarily involves remote work with occasional office visits for important meetings, making it a flexible opportunity for an experienced professional.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Provide financial guidance to senior management.
- Coordinate and manage annual audits and tax filings.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
- Identify trends and variances to ensure financial goals are met.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Healthcare experience required.
- CPA and public highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of applicable experience with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
