Position Overview: As the Financial Controller at Maü Miami, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our prestigious establishment. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis. Your leadership will ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while optimizing profitability and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support business growth and sustainability.
• Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize profitability without compromising quality or service standards.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial forecasting, to provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven track record in leading and developing a finance team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
