Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure the financial health of the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation for annual audits and manage the audit process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Advise leadership on cost-saving measures, financial opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop financial strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Assist in long-term financial planning, business strategy, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in healthcare finance, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance within the healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
  • Experience leading teams and managing financial operations across multiple departments.
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience in healthcare finance or similar industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, budgeting, and reporting standards.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software.
