You and Your Job As a Quality Control Analyst you will be successful at identifying deficiencies to improve the current process. The Financial Crime Compliance is a part of Compliance, Rabo Diversified Services (RDS). This group provides compliance advisory and support services to the NY Branch, RSI, Canada Branch, Mexico Representative Office, Utrecht America Holdings and Rabo AgriFinance. The FCC Quality Control (QC) /Monitoring Analyst will execute ongoing QC/monitoring assessments based on established Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for various compliance related internal controls pertaining to (but not limited to) Client due diligence, Transaction Monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reporting, 314(a), 314(b), OFAC/Sanctions & Watchlist Screening, CIP, and Section 311 & 9714 Special Measures. The QC/monitoring function is an important governance and oversight component which aids in the continuing evaluation of control effectiveness and potential deficiencies related to the BSA AML Compliance & OFAC Program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support by thorough execution of QC assessments which aid in ensuring adherence to laws and regulations relevant to BSA AML Compliance & OFAC/Sanctions.
  • Provide updates on the QC/monitoring results to the BSA AML Compliance & OFAC QC Manager on a regular basis, in accordance with established processes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of QC policies, procedures, and compliance tools.
  • Continuously maintain and expand knowledge pertaining to AML/CFT, BSA, OFAC/Sanctions compliance related regulations and industry practices.
  • Act on own initiative where appropriate to meet business objectives, while remaining in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in coaching, training, and developing other BSA AML Compliance & OFAC QC Analysts.
  • Raise risks/gaps identified to the BSA AML Compliance & OFAC QC Manager and propose solutions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of QC processes as applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in Financial crime compliance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
