We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Crime Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of compliance management, fraud prevention detection, and regulatory reporting. As a Crime Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data related to criminal activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and contributing to the overall safety and security of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial data to identify patterns indicative of fraudulent activities.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to gather intelligence on criminal trends.
  • Utilize financial software to track and report on suspicious transactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings related to securities law and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting financial practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial auditing, compliance management, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and SOX regulations.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection methodologies and securities law is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using financial software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred.
