About the position

TEKsystems is currently hiring Customer Service Representatives to support a reputable financial institution located in Owings Mills, MD. The primary responsibility of the Service Associates will be to assist the clients' customers with their inquiries and needs. This role involves taking incoming calls throughout the day, where representatives will interact with shareholders regarding a variety of issues. These calls may range from simple requests, such as changing personal information or updating account details, to more complex inquiries that require careful navigation of the clients' systems. However, it is important to note that this position will not involve providing financial advice; instead, representatives will guide clients to the appropriate resources or departments as needed. The role is structured such that approximately 85% of the workday will be dedicated to handling inbound phone calls, while the remaining 15% will involve email correspondence and other administrative tasks. This balance ensures that Service Associates remain engaged with customers while also managing necessary paperwork and follow-ups. The position requires strong communication skills, as representatives must convey information clearly and professionally to clients via both phone and email. Additionally, familiarity with various systems and web-based programs is essential, as representatives will be required to navigate these tools efficiently to assist customers effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of customer service experience required.
  • Experience with MS Office products, particularly MS Word and MS Outlook.
