About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial/Data Analyst to join our team at COR Medical Centers. This position is integral to our finance department, where you will leverage your expertise to support budgeting, forecasting, and accounting processes. This role involves analyzing financial data, managing billing processes, and generating reports to support our financial operations and decision-making. You will be responsible for developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing valuable insights to drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will be adept at data analysis and spreadsheet creation, have experience in medical billing, and possess a strong proficiency in Excel. This is a dual reporting role and will report to both the COO and CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various departments to develop, analyze, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic planning.
  • Assist with various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Create and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational performance.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate KPI trends and insights.
  • Design, update, and maintain complex spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis and data management.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
  • Experience with financial software, Quickbooks, is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
