About the position

The Financial Institutions Relationship Manager at Heartland serves as a key liaison between the company and its financial institution partners. This role focuses on building strong relationships, promoting innovative financial technology solutions, and driving business growth through effective sales strategies. The position requires regional travel to partner branches and involves educating business owners about Heartland's products and services.

Responsibilities

• Attend branch meetings and cultivate leads.
• Set appointments and educate business owners about Heartland's solutions.
• Travel regionally to partner branches daily.
• Communicate all activity with branch partners.
• Listen to customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services.
• Prospect for new leads and respond quickly to inquiries.
• Close new merchant accounts consistently each month.
• Overcome customer objections and ensure successful sales.
• Provide excellent service to merchants and build long-lasting relationships.
• Stay updated on Heartland's latest products and services.

Requirements

• High school Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• Successful completion of a background check
• Completion of a mandatory drug screening on or near the sixtieth (60th) day of employment
• Local residency required for this work-from-home field sales opportunity.
