About The Position

The Financial Intelligence Data Analyst in the Data Analytics group is responsible for managing data analytics projects, is a key contributor in firm data strategy and driving innovation, utilizing advanced analytics techniques to inform decision-making process. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, technical skills, passion for innovation, and understanding of how leveraging data can help achieve business goals. The Financial Intelligence Data Analyst role utilizes tools, such as Power BI, to deliver high-impact analytics and reporting, designing complex dashboards, models and resolving data integrity issues. The role is a key driver in large-scale analytical projects, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize business problems. The Financial Intelligence Data Analyst role fosters a collaborative environment, drives continuous improvement and contributes to firm data strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate deliverables, aligning data initiatives with business goals, staying updated with industry trends and best practices. This role works directly with functional leads across the Firm, performing research, analysis and data presentation to enable the firm to make informed decisions, meet external client requirements and track all aspects of financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role including experience with data modeling, statistical analysis and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets, identify trends and provide actionable data-driven insights.
• Highly proficient in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Demonstrated experience in report development (SSRS/Power BI Paginated Reporting).
• Highly proficient in Microsoft office, with advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, VBA, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with advanced statistical methods and data modeling.
• High proficiency in SQL and programming languages (Python/R/VBA) or other relevant programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience in creation of complex queries, data manipulation, and automation of data processes.
• Experience with Machine Learning and AI implementation.
• Ability to work in agile environment and to adapt to changing business needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and level of accuracy in work.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly changing data environment.

Responsibilities

• Key contributor to the implementation of firm's data strategy initiative.
• Develop and implement analytics solutions in alignment with the firm's data strategy, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
• Develop and maintain data reporting tools and systems, utilizing the firm's data analytics platform (Power BI).
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to drive strategic decision-making.
• Develop solutions to streamline processes, enhance data quality and drive intelligent solutions.
• Research and evaluate new optional solutions and technologies.
• Develop predictive models to forecast future trends, client behaviors, and market opportunities.
• Work closely with different departments (e.g., marketing, finance, legal) to understand their data needs, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
