About the position

The Financial Intelligence Department Manager at Associated Bank is responsible for overseeing the organization's enterprise Financial Crimes program. This role involves implementing, directing, and coordinating efforts to prevent financial crimes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing a team to achieve enterprise goals. The manager will collaborate with various departments to develop processes and tools that mitigate financial crime risks while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the organization's enterprise Financial Crimes program.
• Partner with other FID Managers and risk management teams to build processes and tools for financial crime prevention.
• Own and support the bank's policies and SOPs for effective financial crimes protection.
• Lead the financial crimes team with staffing analysis and strategy to meet enterprise goals.
• Develop team structure to maximize effectiveness of the Financial Crimes program.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and compliance expectations and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance and conduct adequate audits and exams.
• Oversee annual risk assessment and coverage analysis for financial crimes.
• Assist with enterprise-wide financial crimes training programs and materials.
• Support the Director of Financial Crimes and Chief Risk Officer with program updates and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security, Risk, Fraud, Investigations, Banking, or Compliance.
• 10-12 years of experience in Security, Risk, Fraud, Investigations, Banking, Compliance, or related fields.
• Licenses and Certifications: CAMS, CFE, or other financial crimes certification.
