About the position

The Financial Java KDB Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of Risk Management Applications focused on intra-day risk management. This role involves collaboration with business analysts and users to drive system and integration requirements, as well as providing technical recommendations. The developer will also be involved in unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of components/applications to production, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Risk Management Applications for intra-day risk management.
• Collaborate with business analysts and users to drive system and integration requirements.
• Provide technical recommendations based on system requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of components/applications to production.
• Work with other developers to complete project deliverables.
• Ensure the overall quality of deliverables meets high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Core JAVA.
• Some experience with KDB.
• Experience in streaming frameworks like Flink or Samza is a big plus.
• Knowledge of financial products such as Bonds and Derivatives, and risk parameters like Delta, Gamma, and Theta.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services/SOA architectures and Design Patterns.
• Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• 7-10+ years of overall experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with streaming frameworks like Flink or Samza.
